Small leftovers.
Big effect.

With 3D printing, leftovers accumulate everywhere: support structures, test prints, failed attempts, purging, and spool remnants pile up on the workbench. With Inkolor’s recycling program, this material is no longer waste, but part of something bigger.

Do it
in 3 simple steps with

  • 1 • Sort your PLA leftovers

Collect support structures, misprints, purging material, discarded prototypes, and filament leftovers—as long as it is exclusively pure, clean, and dry PLA.

  • 2 • Fill out the form

Fill in your contact details and enter the approximate amount of PLA you would like to send in. Make sure the PLA is clean and dry.

  • 3 • You will receive by email:

    • The shipping address to our warehouse in Alpnach Dorf
    • Instructions for preparation and packaging
    • Your voucher for 10% off your next filament purchase at Inkolor.ch

Is there a quantity limit per shipment?

We accept up to 5 kg of PLA leftovers per shipment.

Can I send less than 1 kg?

Yes, there is no minimum quantity. However, we recommend collecting a reasonable amount—this makes shipping more sustainable.

Can I send in more than 5 kg?

Yes, as long as you divide the material into packages of no more than 5 kg. For larger volumes, please contact us in advance.

Can I send in PETG, ABS, or TPU?

No. At this time, we only accept PLA.

Can I submit PLA with glitter, wood, metal, carbon fiber, or other additives?

No. We can accept only clean and dry PLA without additives, fillers, or reinforcements. These additives impair the recycling process and cannot be mixed with pure PLA.

Who pays for shipping?

Shipping is your responsibility. You can use Swiss Post or a transport company of your choice.

When will I receive my 10% voucher?

Once you complete the form, you will receive the shipping instructions and your 10% voucher for your next filament order at Inkolor.ch by email. The voucher is sent automatically, and you do not need to send in your filament leftovers first.

Do I only receive the voucher after I’ve sent in my PLA leftovers?

No. The voucher will be sent to you immediately by email. However, we ask you to send only clean, dry PLA without additives. Trust and responsibility are the foundation of this recycling program.

Can we participate as a school, company, or Fab Lab?

Yes. The program is open to everyone — private individuals, companies, or institutions — as long as the volume does not exceed 5 kg per shipment. For larger quantities, please contact us in advance. We are working to expand our processing capacity.
