Inkolor in brief

Inkolor was founded in 2007 in the canton of Obwalden and is still run by the founding family to this day.

Our vision was clear: printing should become more affordable, more efficient, and easier for private individuals as well as businesses – without compromising on quality.

Over 18 years, this idea has grown and become established, so that Inkolor is now a recognized benchmark in the demanding Swiss market for printer accessories. To this day, we continue to focus on innovation and make everyday life easier for our customers by offering solutions that combine savings potential, quality, and reliability.

Personalized service and efficient support

We are proud to answer 98,7 % of all customer inquiries within a maximum of two hours.
Thanks to this fast response time, our customers can quickly resume their printing processes with minimal interruptions — and focus on what really matters.

Expansion into the European Union

2024 marked a significant milestone in the success story of Inkolor: with our official expansion into the European Union, we strategically strengthened our international presence. A key element of this new phase is the opening of our distribution center in Portugal – a step that underscores our commitment to serving customers in Europe even faster, more efficiently, and with local support.

Already over 100'000 customers trust Inkolor

Major names such as McDonald’s, Remax, Zürich Versicherungen and Ikea already trust Inkolor as a partner in the field of printer supplies.

Alongside these renowned companies, we also serve an extensive network of public institutions—including schools, universities, hospitals, museums and municipal administrations—as well as thousands of private customers who value quality, reliability and an optimal price-performance ratio.

The art of 3D printing redefined

In 2025, Inkolor is taking another step toward the future of print technology with the official launch of a new product line: filaments for 3D printing.

With the same commitment to quality, reliability, and sustainability that has always defined our brand, we are now entering the world of 3D printing as well — to offer high-performance solutions tailored to the needs of professionals, businesses, and tech enthusiasts.

This new product line underscores our commitment to innovation and expands our portfolio with additional solutions that make Inkolor the ideal partner for all forms of printing.

Sustainability – internationally certified

At Inkolor, we are committed to environmentally conscious action – from production to disposal.

For every order, we plant a tree together with Tree-Nation, making a direct contribution to CO₂ offsetting and reforestation worldwide.

Our deliveries are climate-compensated in collaboration with Swiss Post, and our distribution center in Alpnach is powered 100 % by renewable energy.

In addition, we actively promote the recycling of empty toner and ink cartridges of all brands to conserve resources and avoid waste.

The production of our consumables is ISO 14001-certified and complies with the European RoHS and REACH directives – ensuring the highest environmental standards from the first to the last step.
