Ideal storage conditions for toner cartridges:

1. Temperature:
• Ideal: Between 10°C and 30°C
• Avoid extreme temperatures: excessive heat can damage the toner powder; extreme cold can cause moisture to condense.

2. Relative humidity:
• Ideal: Between 20% and 60%, in a dry place.
• Moisture can cause the toner powder to clump and reduce print quality.

3. Light exposure:
• Avoid direct sunlight or strong fluorescent light.
• Light can damage sensitive parts such as the photosensitive drum (Drum/Imaging Unit) in some cartridges.

4. Storage position:
• Store horizontally, preferably in the same position in which the cartridge will later be inserted into the printer.
• This prevents uneven distribution of the toner powder inside the cartridge.

5. Original packaging:
• Keep the toner cartridge in its original packaging until use.
• This protects it from dust, light, and moisture.

6. Avoid shocks and vibrations:
• Store the cartridge in a stable, safe place where there is no risk of dropping or impact.

An empty printer cartridge takes approximately 450 years to be completely broken down by nature. In addition, the production of each new cartridge requires large amounts of energy and resources. It is important to us that as many consumables as possible are recycled. For this reason, we provide collection containers at public recycling centers.
