Ideal storage conditions for labels:
1. temperature:
- Ideal: Between 10 °C and 25 °C
- Excessively high temperatures can prematurely discolor the thermosensitive coating material; cold temperatures can impair the adhesive properties.
2. relative humidity:
- Ideal: Between 40 % and 60 %
- Excessively humid environments can weaken the adhesive or curl the label material.
3. exposure to light:
- Protect from direct sunlight and UV light.
- Direct thermal labels are sensitive to light and can become discolored if exposed to strong light.
4. storage position:
- Store upright and in the original packaging to avoid deformation.
- Keep away from heat sources and moisture.
5. original packaging:
- Do not remove from packaging until shortly before use.
- The packaging protects against light, dust and climatic fluctuations.
6. shelf life:
- DK labels should be used within 1-2 years of purchase to ensure optimum print quality.

An empty printer cartridge takes around 450 years for nature to completely break down. In addition, a large amount of energy and resources are required to produce each new cartridge. It is important to us that as many consumables as possible are recycled. For this reason, we provide collection containers at public recycling centers.
